Wishing for this November

My list overflows, as usual but here is a little edit. I’m putting a few of these on the Christmas list, I think.

Fossil Preston Small Flap bag – R2600 (sob)
I want this in black. It is small and cute and I don’t own anything luxury, and this caught my eye. I mean, obviously I would die one hundred times for a Rebecca Minkoff, but I can’t see that happening. I got this in May 2016 for my birthday 🙂

Lush Hot Oil Hair Treatment – R125 (I think?)
Oh yes, this curly frizzy hair needs some lurve! I ultimately want like 10 of these. Right. I bought one of these in December and I got one as a gift from AwkwardPurse. Love it!

Benefit B.Right Radiant Skincare Set – R295
Well, this was on RedSquare… but now I don’t see it. This is definitely going on the Christmas wishlist. I need an eyecream… this contains one. And also, they’re mini and cute and made by Benefit. What could go wrong? T_T

LOC Complete Collection for Eyes (by Tati!) – $35-ish?
Well, these sticks look amazing and also, I love Tati’s tutorials and would love to support her. I’m thinking of making a BirchBox order next month and use the Aramex freight forwarding service. I already emailed BirchBox to find out if they accept this service (places like Sephora – WHYYYY???!!! – don’t accept freight forwarding addresses) and they said it’s all good 🙂 A friend and I made a BirchBox order in November/December and these goodies arrived just before Christmas. I should do a review… They’re awesome!

Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask – R540
Currently on special for a big bottle… Would love this! I have some under the skin bumps which are driving me nuts and nothing is shifting them… I wonder if this would help? Maybe Santa will help me out 😛 But probably not. So, REN had a sale in December (can’t remember why) and I picked this up for like R400. Love!

Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioning Protein Pack – R30?
This stuff. It was created by gods amongst men, I tell you. I leave it in as a treatment – so like an hour minimum – and when I wash it out, my hair is magical. And besides, who doesn’t want magical hair? I finally found these before I finished work in December. Currently my hair smells like this coconutty goodness. Yum!

October is over

I always find the last few months of the year pretty stressful and tight money-wise thanks to birthdays and the weather being better (which leads to going out more often), etc etc, so I’ve tried to rein myself in…although I’m not entirely sure how successful I was. I mean, I went and bought that Chanel palette 😛

Here is what made its way into my bin in October…

Loreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Conditioner
I was glad when this finished. I found that the formula had glittery bits in it, which I’m sure are supposed to wash out? Or maybe it’s supposed to make your hair look more “shiny”? Either way, I found that the bits just remained in my hair and looked horrible, and my scalp just really didn’t get on with this stuff. Pity. I’m finishing off some Joico KPak at the moment…

The Body Shop Cotton Rounds
Not very exciting, but here you go. I bought these on sale yonks ago. I didn’t think they were anything to rave about, to be honest UNTIL I repurchased a pack from Clicks. The Clicks ones are not as soft and just don’t…perform as well, but they are like a thousand times cheaper. I just can’t justify buying TBS versions on the regular. Sorry!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Smooth Start shampoo
I liked this, but I’m trying to steer away from sulfates at the moment. I’m finishing off some Joico KPak stuff and then when I’m done, I’m thinking of getting some sulfate-free John Frieda (coconut or macadamia) shampoo or some OGX.

Clarins Gentle Day Cream – 5ml sample
Loved this, but apparently this line is being discontinued (or is already discontinued). I used this when I was sleeping out and believe it or not, those 5ml tubes really lasted for ages.

Clarins Gentle Night Cream – 5ml sample
Again, loved this. I was pretty sad to see this one go!

Essence Sun Club Shimmer Bronzing Powder for Blondes – 10 Sunkissed
I got this from Jess (hi Jess!) as it was too light for her. Loved it! Haven’t repurchased though because I’m using The Body Shop bronzer at the moment.

Loreal Superliner So Couture eyeliner
My favourite eyeliner. It has a brush tip which is super duper fine, making it really easy to get sharp edges. I’ve read a lot of reviews where people have complained about its pigmentation, but on my skin, it shows up super black and doesn’t fade. I repurchased this baby, and am currently rocking a bad ass baby flick. I swear, this stuff makes sure your flicks are on fleek. Get it!

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil
God, I love this stuff BUT this bottle leaked from day one, which has really put me off getting another bottle. Currently I’m using Lush Ultrabland to remove my makeup but I really want another cleansing oil. I hope Clinique launches the Take the Day Off Cleansing Oil here in SA…but I’m not holding my breath.

Johnson’s Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes for normal skin
I bought these in bulk about two months ago. I only use these to take off my makeup when I go to gym. When I’m done with gym and come home, I give myself a proper cleanse cos these can be quite drying/stripping. I make sure I moisturise like crazy afterwards as well!

Quite a list this month! I feel like I’m still so far away from down sizing the crap in my room, but hopefully by the end of December, things will be a lot more manageable!
