November empties

Sadly, this wasn’t a very good empties month and I was kind of bad. I bought stuff. YOLO? No. Not even close. Sigh. And with Christmas around the corner (excited!), it means more buying. My poor bank account, I’m so sorry. I really need to get better at this saving thing.

So what have I finished?

Nivea Creme Coconut body wash
I loved the smell, and depending on the face cloth/poof I use, it either lathers up really well, or not at all. So, application definitely seems to be a focus-area to get optimum foaming potential 😛 It smells like paradise, and truly wish that this version came out in a big bottle.

Gilette Satin Care for Sensitive Skin
This took forever to finish because I’ve been using oils lately for shaving. I did actually end up repurchasing for those occasions when taking an oil away with me is inconvenient and messy.

Olay Even and Smooth Light Day Cream for Combo/Oily Skin (20g tube)
This lasted surprisingly long considering it was a “travel size”. Rather than committing to something that might not work for my skin, I bought the small tube and I’m happy to say it was pretty great. BUT. When it came to repurchasing, I could only find the full size version in jar form. WHY? Why. I hate jars. It just seems unhygienic to stick my fingers over and over again into a cream, especially when it’s going on my face. I’m busy trying out a Neutrogena oil-free face cream now.

Dior Capture Totale One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum (mini)
I received this sample with my Dior BB cream I bought agessss ago. I really liked this. It smelt a bit like cheap perfume, but my skin just soaked it up and it made everything look nice in the morning. Despite it’s MINUTE size, the sample lasted a long time. I just can’t make the jump to paying for a full size though.

Kerastase Nutritive Masqintense (sample)
This came in my RetailBox Secretbox (the very first one they released). I didn’t think this tiny tub would offer much opportunity to test the product but I was so wrong. I managed to get a few more uses out of it than I thought it would, and felt really luxurious. It made my hair feel sleek and soft, and it actually smelled quite nice. I’m sad to see it finished!

Kerastase Nutritive Oleo-Curl leave in conditioner
My mom picked this up a few years ago (I know) and used it a handful of times and then moved onto something else, so I re-appropriated it. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s finally finished. Sadness! This stuff smelled like mango and apricots (I think). I applied it to towel-dried hair to define my curl a bit and add back some hydration. I would consider buying a tube for myself, but we’ll see after the Christmas season!

And that is it! Not much this month, and probably not much will happen in December either. I really need to stop buying things. Someone, please remind me of this!
