Not much this month! I’m still on my quest to finish products, but it’s slow going, unfortunately!
The Body Shop Honeymania Cream Body Scrub
I ended up liking this in the end. I wish it was more honey-smelling and less floral, but you know, it was pleasant, it felt great and I’ll probably repurchase this at some point. Unlike most of the other scents, this was definitely a sugar-ish scrub rather than a cream scrub. I say -ish because it isn’t as gritty as the Shea Butter version but it isn’t 90% cream + some granular bits.
Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Body Wash – Shea Butter with Warm Vanilla
So good. SOOOOOOO good. Smells like heaven. I’ll definitely be chucking this in my basket again. I have a few body washes to get through first, but yes. I love this.
Head and Shoulders Menthol
Ah, the budget shampoo. Good. To the point. Nothing special. I like this version because it’s tingly!
Chanel Sublime de Chanel Mascara (20)
Oh god, I spent forever convincing myself to just throw this stuff away. It had been on its way out for awhile, but I couldn’t do it. I loved this stuff. I got it in a deep brown for a more natural look. It was magical. But oh so expensive for a mascara. I’d love to give Dior a go next. But ya know. It’s expensive and I have to replace my face cream soon.
Pick n Pay The Caribbean Collection – Pink Grapefruit and Mandarin Exfoliating Gel
Yeah. No. It smelt a bit like citrus-scented cleaning products. There was nothing “exfoliating” about it. But it was zingy and I finished it up but I’ll definitely not be getting this again.
The Body Shop Mango Sugar Body Scrub
So nice! I thought I’d kinda hate the scent, but it wasn’t so bad! So nice and scrubby and awesome. And moisturising! I’ve replaced this with the Shea Butter Sugar Scrub (which I’ve used and loved before).
Vichy Normaderm Nuit for Imperfection Prone Skin
I really, really liked this. This night cream is perfect for people with oily skin. It mattified everything, but kept my face moisturised at the same time, and I hardly ever suffered from breakouts when using this. I really want to give Paula’s Choice a go, though, so I won’t be getting this any time soon. But it’s a good fall back.
Concord Nail Polish Remover Jar
Easy peasy. A good nail polish removal staple. Just stick your finger in. Twist. Pull it out and tada! I’ve repurchased this lovely little magic jar. It’s also wayyy cheaper than the Bourjois option, and does the same job. Go, Dischem!
